The Eagles rounded out their first half of the season with a victory on the road against Wayland Wednesday night. The possession favored the Eagles from kick-off and it only took 6 minutes for their passing to find the back of the net. Celia Toler connected with Olivia Gray on a cross for the first goal of the evening. It was off another cross from Emma Hart to Celia Toler that then put the Eagles up 2 – 0 at halftime.
The Eagles started out the second half a bit slower but eventually gained momentum and scored twice more to round out the evening: Olivia Gray assisted Erin Cawley and Olivia Gray scored unassisted. With the victory, the JV squad stands 5 – 0 – 1 in conference play and will begin their second half of the season next Wednesday night against conference opponent, Forest Hills Eastern.
