Eagles JV Girl’s Lacrosse lost to Caledonia, 3 – 5. Goals were scored senior Michelle Ferdinands; sophomore Anna Hart; and freshman Kiera Zylstra. Sophomore goalie Kayla Potter was credited with an amazing 12 saves. Midfielder Anna Hart was credited with winning 5 and controlling 2 draws. Sophomores Grace Ydenberg and Gabby Rowland were each credited with winning and controlling one draw. Junior Lauren Merritt was also credited with controlling a draw. The team’s Groundhog Award was given to senior Michelle Ferdinands for her good work scooping up 7 ground balls and causing 1 turn over. Junior defender Claire VanderWall eared Defensive Player of the Game for her good work on defense, turning players away from the goal and scooping up 5 ground balls. Despite the loss, the game was evenly matched, with the Eagles only coming up short at the end. Way to go Eagles!
