As the dark clouds rolled in the Eagles faced Forest Hills Eastern in their first conference match of the season. The matches were close but in the end Grand Rapids Christian was able to edge out their opponents.

The first 4 points were earned from the great efforts of #3 Dan Betten/Owen Greer (8-5), #4 Jordan Bergsma/Lucas Oezer (8-5), #5 Devin Meeuwsen/Matt Molenhouse (8-2) and #7 Cade Boender/Derek Jacobsen (8-2).

The winning match was played by #8 Ben Walters/Nate VerMeulen who came back after a rough 0-3 start to win 8-4.

Chase Jackson and Brevin Ganzevoort also came away with a 6-3 exhibition win.
