Varsity Soccer defeats state-ranked FHC 1-0

The Eagles Varsity team upset the #6 state-ranked Rangers of Forest Hills Central yesterday in high winds at Gainey field.  Joel Schipper, also the kicker for the varsity football team, performed a picture-perfect throw-in to the far post which was volleyed in by Taylor Pruis for the Eagles only goal.  Great defense held the Rangers

Girl’s Golf Finishes Middle of the Pack at Kent County Inv.

Girl’s Golf continues to improve as they finish in the middle of the pack of a very tough group at the Kent County Invitational held at the Highlands Golf Course.

Varsity Tennis plays well early

Eagles faster than Rockets, Varsity football wins 52-13

The rain held off in Muskegon as the varsity football team flew past the Reeths-Puffer Rockets 52-13 to improve to 2-0.  Next week be sure to attend the Eagle Walk at 5:30pm and the Eagle Tailgater at 5:45pm on Friday, Sept. 10 vs. FHC.  Pictures to follow- thanks Mrs. Hall!

JV Football VS. Reeths Puffer 9-1-10

The JV Eagle football squad looked fantastic in their 46-7 win over Reeths-Puffer.  With a balanced ground and air attack, the defense gave the offense consistently great field position to improve this talented group to 1-1.

Boy’s and Girl’s Eagle CC both win 1st!

At Manhattan Park on August 26th both the boy’s and girl’s cross country teams placed 1st in an invitational hosted by EGR.  Coach Jager was happy with the early showing “We have a great group of athletes and tremendous parental support, this should be a fun season.”

Cross Country has great start

Both the boy’s and girl’s Eagle Cross Country teams have enjoyed fast starts this fall.  At the OK White/Black Kick-off run the girl’s placed 1st with 24 points and the boys placed second with 43 points behind Kenowa’s 39 point 1st place finish.
