There are currently 7 former Eagle Volleyball players on the Calvin College Volleyball roster.  Kerrah Pyper, Megan Rietema and Kristi Zietse graduated GRCH in 2010.  Julia Hilbrands, Kim Start and Jen Pluymert graduated in 2009, and Renee DeHaan graduated in 2008.  The Knights are currently ranked 8th in the latest NCAA Division III

The Eagles Varsity team upset the #6 state-ranked Rangers of Forest Hills Central yesterday in high winds at Gainey field.  Joel Schipper, also the kicker for the varsity football team, performed a picture-perfect throw-in to the far post which was volleyed in by Taylor Pruis for the Eagles only goal.  Great defense held the Rangers
