“Safety Kavon Frazier believes he can start this season with the Dallas Cowboys not only because he senses trust from the coaching staff, but also because he finally has a healthy right foot.
“The second-year safety from Grand Rapids Christian High School underwent surgery in February to correct a stress fracture that he unknowingly played with his senior season at Central Michigan and was discovered during the NFL Combine. Ultimately, it may have played a role in his selection in the sixth round.”
“Frazier will host his first football camp in Grand Rapids next Friday and it is free for ages 7-18. So far, he said, about 400 kids have signed up.

“‘Obviously, I went to Grand Rapids Christian and I’m all-in for Grand Rapids Christian, but I also grew up on the southeast side and that was tough,’ Frazier said. ‘So I wanted to reach out to more than just one group of people.
“‘When I grew up, I couldn’t pay any money to go to a camp and I only got one scholarship (offer) because I wasn’t going to any camps and that hurt me, for sure. So maybe this can become a showcase for the high schoolers.’
“Frazier will have some of his Cowboys teammates on hand as well in fullback Keith Smith, defensive ends Charles Tapper and Malik Collins along with fellow Grand Rapids product Bronson Hill, a running back most recently with the Jacksonville Jaguars.”
Congratulations on your continued success, Kavon!! We are really proud of you!!!
