Game Recap

Every player that donned an Eagle jersey scored on Tuesday night as the Grand Rapids Christian Girls Basketball team trucked the Wayland Wildcats by a score of 57 to 26. The Eagles jumped out to a 19 to 2 lead to start the game powered by two strong put backs by Leah Singleton and two downtown triples by Deesh Beck and Sydney Muller. The second half saw more of the same as Brooke Christians took over control of the paint and pounded in 8 low post points. Beck (13), Singleton (12) and Muller (10) all finished in double digits and Singleton cleaned up the glass for 12 rebounds. Next up for Grand Rapids Christian is a rivalry game with the South Christian Sailors at 6:00 PM on Friday night. It will be the first conference game between the two foes in their stored history.
