Head Football Coach Don Fellows and Six Players Earn Award

Coach Fellows and the Six Eagles Awarded All-Star recognition by West Michigan All-Star

The Eagles football team had a season that will be remembered for a long time in 2011.  A 10-1 finish that saw the Eagles win the OK-White Conference in stunning fashion over East Grand Rapids, as well as many highlights and special plays that are still fresh in the memories of parents, friends, and football fans in general.

West Michigan All Star, a Grand Rapids based sports media production which focuses it’s efforts on covering high school sports in the area, has recognized the Grand Rapids Christian Eagles Varsity football team for their efforts.

West Michigan All-Star has specifically recognized six Eagles for their On-Field performances as well as their coach, Don Fellows.

According to Justin Arbogast, Director of Operations at WMA, the Eagles dominated the All-Star vote as they had 7 players represented on the All-Star team, more than any other team in the area.

Grand Rapids Christian would again like to thank coach Don Fellows and the team for an amazing season and all their hard work.  We all are proud of the season you had.

I would also like to thank West Michigan All-Star on behalf of the Varsity football team, Don Fellows, and the six players below for the coverage given to the team this past season and for recognizing all the hard work they put into the 2011 season.

Go Eagles!
