Varsity Football—MHSAA District Semifinal (Friday): Eagles – 48, Kenowa Hills – 21. The Eagles will play the EGR Pioneers in the District Finals game Friday night, here at Eagles Stadium. Ticket information will be available later this week.
Boys Varsity Soccer (Saturday): The Eagles lost to Spring Lake in the Regional championship game. The team finished the season with a 14-8-2 record, a District championship, and a second place finish in the OK White. Congratulations on a great year!
Cross Country—MHSAA Regionals (Saturday).
Boys team took 1st place. Top Eagle finishers were Wuoi Mach (meet winner), Eric Veldkamp (2nd
- overall), Evan Hoekzema, Matt Plantinga, Andrew Pruim, Benny Briseno, Micah Warners.
Girls team took 2nd place. Top Eagle finishers were Julia Bos (meet winner), Lindsey Fox,
Katie Verhulst, Abby Long, Melanie Fox, Carlie Penning, Maaike Mudde.
Both teams advance to next week’s State Finals. Congratulations!
Varsity Volleyball (Saturday): The Eagles won the OK Black/White Tournament. After winning their pool, the Eagles then beat Lowell in the semi-finals and Mona Shores in the finals. Congratulations, Eagles!
GRCHS Sailing (Saturday) team took 2nd in the Laser Division at the Detroit Country Day School Halloween Regatta.
