Ninth Grade (Thursday) defeated Creston, 44 – 7.
JV (Thursday): After trailing 16 – 6 in the 3rd quarter, the Eagles fought back and won, 30 – 16.
Varsity (Friday): The Eagles defeated Creston and captured victory #8.
Boys Soccer (Thursday)
JV: GR Christian – 2, ERG – 0. The JV team finished the season with a 15-1-2 record.

Varsity: GR Christian – 5, EGR – 1. The varsity team finished the regular season with a 10-7-2 record
and a tie for second place in the OK White. District tournament play begins tomorrow night with a
game at Zeeland West at 6:30.
Cross Country (Saturday)—Kent/Ottawa County Invitational:
Varsity Girls came in 2nd. Top Eagle finishers were Julia Bos (meet champion), Lindsey Fox,
Melanie Fox, Abby Long, Katie Verhulst, Cassie Jager, Carolyn Muyskens.
JV Girls came in 2nd. Top Eagle finishers were Carlie Penning, Kate Conzelmann, Maaike Mudde,
Carolyn Wilcox, Kat Jonker, Gabby Bosworth, Margo Rasmussen.
Varsity Boys came in 3rd. Top Eagle finishers were Wuoi Mach (meet champion), Andre Otte,
Eric Veldkamp, Micah Warners, Matt Pantinga, Cody Powers, Evan Hoekzema.
JV Boys were meet champions. Top Eagle finishers were Mark deJong, Andrew Pruim,
Benny Briseno, Patrick Jonker, Jim VanDyke, Conner Luymes, Jacob Rienstra.
Volleyball
Ninth Grade—Rockford Freshman Volley-Rama (Saturday): The Eagles won one game and lost one
against West Ottawa and went 0 – 2 to Rockford, Fenton, and East Kentwood.
JV—Grand Haven JV Lakeshore Classic (Saturday): The Eagles beat Kenowa Hills and East Kentwood
in pool play and then lost a tough-fought match to Grandville in the gold division.
GRCHS Sailing placed 3rd at Traverse City Invitational on Saturday.
Boys Varsity Tennis—MHSAA State Finals: The Eagles took sixth place at the Boy’s Tennis State Finals at Holly this weekend. Klaas Walhout (First Singles) and Nick Haveman/Jon Draayer (Fourth Doubles) made it to the semi-finals in their respective flights.
